Как проверить
- Считать все коды сканером: P0830 часто идёт вместе с уточняющими кодами, которые указывают на конкретный узел.
- Проверить разъём и проводку подозреваемого узла: обрывы, окисление и перетёртые жгуты — причина половины «электрических» кодов.
- Сверить симптомы с описанием ниже и осмотреть узел из названия кода (датчик, клапан, цепь).
- Сбросить коды и проехать 50–100 км: если код вернулся — неисправность подтверждена, если нет — ищут пережатый жгут или плохой контакт.

Clutch pedal switches A and B are digital inputs of manual gearboxes: they release the starter only with the pedal pressed, switch off cruise control and tell start-stop whether the clutch is open. Which switch is A or B is up to each manufacturer – FCA calls the pedal-up switch A. Ford's 2020–23 summary checks a dual switch over more than 40 pedal applications and reports a stuck switch without MIL (P0830 stuck high, P0833 stuck low, comparison P0704). P0830 is the general fault of switch A. On Ford it means the switch is stuck high. On a 2012–13 Jeep Wrangler with the six-speed manual, Chrysler reprogrammed the engine module for unwanted cruise control cut-outs with P0830; an FCA tip notes that a driver resting a foot on the pedal keeps the pedal-up switch on and sets the code. The MIL depends on the manufacturer.
